ทั้งนี้ หน่วยงานภายใต้กระทรวงทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมคณะทำงาน 2 รายการ ได้แก่ การประชุมคณะทำงานด้านมหาสมุทรและการประมง (OFWG) โดยกรมทรัพยากรทางทะเลและชายฝั่ง และการประชุมกลุ่มผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการต่อต้านการค้าไม้ผิดกฎหมายและการค้าที่เกี่ยวข้อง (EGILAT) โดยกรมป่าไม้
3. สภาที่ปรึกษาทางธุรกิจเอเปค (APEC Business Advisory Council: ABAC) เป็นหน่วยงานภาคเอกชน ภายใต้ความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจเอเชียแปซิฟิก มีหน้าที่หลักคือการให้คำแนะนำแก่ผู้นำและเจ้าหน้าที่เอเปคในประเด็นที่น่าสนใจทางธุรกิจ ตลอดจนการส่งมอบข้อมูลทางธุรกิจเฉพาะด้าน
